Variety Queensland is excited to host its inaugural Motor Mouth Camp in 2025!
It will run from Friday 7th of November to Sunday 9th of November 2025 at the Gold Coast Recreation Centre.
The camp is for children aged 6 – 17 years of age who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and their families.
The Variety Motor Mouth Camp (MMC) was founded in 2011 and was created with the intention to assist children who have complex communication needs and use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) aids to express themselves.
The camp is an immersive experience, encouraging the user and their family to fully embrace their device and incorporate it into everyday life. AAC is used during all activities at camp, encouraging the child and their family to fully embrace their AAC system and to incorporate it into their everyday life
