Welcome the Variety NSW/ACT Educational Application Form

Variety NSW/ACT promotes inclusivity for children at school. The Educational Grant provides children living with financial hardship access to educational items and resources, where they may not otherwise be afforded the opportunity to do so.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Applicants must live in NSW or ACT
  • Applications can only be accepted for children aged 4 to 18 years
  • Previous recipients of an Educational Grant may be eligible to apply again in 12 months after the date listed on their outcome letter
  • Unsuccessful applicants may be eligible to reapply for an Educational Grant 12 months after the date listed on their outcome letter

Educational Grant Requests

  • Clothing - school uniforms and school shoes
  • Educational Expenses – text books, stationery or school bag
  • Learning Aids - thera putty, pencil grips, visual aids, matching cards, puzzles School excursions/incursions
  • School Camp (facilitated through the school the child is attending only)

Documentation Required 

Variety NSW/ACT recommends consulting with your School before starting an application so they can best support you through the process.

Some documentation will be required for your application depending on your situation, these may include support letters, diagnosis letters & proof of income. Please check the guidelines.
